In Loving MemoryRuth A. Ream, 53 of Drexel, Missouri passed away September 27, 2015 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville surrounded by her loving family. Cremation, with Celebration of Life services to be announced by the Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (660-679-0009). Ruth Ann (Castle) Ream was born October 15, 1961 in Jennersville, Pennsylvania, daughter of John and Joyce (Taylor) Castle.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; and “Granny Barb” (Taylor) of Drexel. She is survived by her husband, Russ Ream of Drexel; daughter Carrie Taylor and husband Daniel of Harrisonville, with grandchildren Hayden, Cole and Rowan Taylor; son Dan Ream and wife Michelle of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, with a grandchild on the way; and son Ben Ream and girlfriend Melody of Drexel. She also leaves behind one sister, Peggy Greene and her family of New Jersey.

  16. Ruth, Russ, Carrie, Dan and Ben- It’s been many years ago now, but you all were some of the first people I remember meeting in Drexel. I remember lots of good times in that little white house. We haven’t seen each other much in recent years, but you never forget the way someone makes you feel. Ruth was one of those people that made you feel cared for. She was genuine. She smiled. I pray that you all hold the good memories dear, and I pray for peace for your hearts. We were all blessed to know Ruth.
