Danielle Trader

Danielle Lea Trader, 27, of Raymore, MO passed away Sept. 19, 2011.

She is survived by her husband Bradley Trader and boys Clayton Gillihan and Charlie Trader.  She is also survived by her parents Daniel and Teri Smith of Grandview, MO; brother Harley Smith of Harrisonville, MO; half-brothers Michael Smith of Kansas City, and Daniel Smith of WA; grandfather Les Penner and his wife Edith of Hot Springs, AR; along with many additional family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Georgia Penner.

Before the sun kissed the horizon to bring joy in the morning, a beautiful soul entered Heaven. One last sigh to the moon and peace comforted as a blessing in the Lord. Dani’s presence of love transcends earthly limitations to those who hold her precious memories. Danielle was enlightened by a true love of a lifetime, ‘ever-after’ in Bradley, and her miracle sons Clayton and Charlie. She provides eternal loyalty to not only friends and family, but to the least of those who do not have their own voice. Her spirit stays free and forgiving, nurturing and compassionate. The greatest of all these is God’s love. Each time the warm breeze embraces us, we will remember and our souls will smile as one.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 5 PM Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660) 679-0009. Memorial contributions in memory of Danielle may be made in lieu of flowers to her children’s educational fund, and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Written messages and memories may be left below for members of the family.

  1. Brad, I met beautiful Danielle and a very adorable Charlie just one time. In the few hours we spent laughing, jocking and getting Charlie to smile; I found her to be totally delightful. I was so very sad to hear she was ill and devastated when she passed. She was a bright light taken too soon. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that you and both your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

With love and forever your aunt,

  2. God be with you Bradley, Clayton, Charlie, Terri, Bob and family, Donna, Mark, Cynthia, Robert and all the family during this heart-wrenching time.
Danielle left our world too soon and suddenly. She will be so missed, but will always be remembered for her beautiful, sweet, and caring spirit. She was very dedicated to being a great mom, wife and daughter. She was gorgeous inside and out. We will keep her sweet spirit alive by letting Clayton and Charlie know what a great mom she was. So glad you have many wonderful pictures of her.
I remember conversations with her about the autistic children she cared for and their families so lovingly. She taught me alot about the autistic child in those conversations.
I pray God will give you all the help and guidance you need in your sadness and as you move forward.
We love you and care about you all so much,
Aunt Karen, Uncle Greg and Family
