Funeral services for Kim Hammer will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler, Missouri (660) 679-0009 with John Prichard and John Hammer officiating. Visitation Wednesday evening, 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, or to the family.

Kimlin Sue “Kim” Hammer, 49 of Butler, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. Kim was born March 25, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Dalford and Mary Lou (Weidner) Fuller. Kim liked to laugh and have fun, she loved to fish and spend time with her family – especially with her grandkids and her little dog Cowboy.  She loved to go to church, and loved working at Medicalodge. Kim was always there when you needed something, no matter what.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Kim is survived by her husband, Ronald Dean Hammer of Butler; daughter Selina Fritts and husband Jimmy of Butler; son Justin Hammer and wife Natalie of Butler; daughter Samantha Hammer of Butler; sister Sally Nelson and husband George of Amsterdam, Missouri; sister Dianna Engle and husband Mike of Shawnee, Kansas; brother Warren Fuller and wife Becky of Kansas City, Kansas; brother Billy Fuller and wife Tammy of Kansas City, Kansas; sister Peggi Hubbi of Sea Isle City, New Jersey; brother Freddy Fuller of Lawrence, Kansas; and brother Charlie Fuller of LaCygne, Kansas.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren Austin, J’Nessa, Chloe, Jake, Kristen, and Jess.

  1. Your mother & wife was a wonderful lady who fought the great fight. I feel priveliged to have taken care of her in her last days, and meet all of those who loved her so. i wish your family peace and the promise of all of the great memories in which you can hold on. She truly loved you all! May God bless you.

  5. i will miss my sister very much,kim & my other sister sally helped raise us when we were growing up.i can not remember a whole lot of my childhood because of accidental injuries to my head,but i can remember always running to kim & sally for help when we needed it.i wasn’t around a lot when she was ill,but i was able to see her when she past away.her family sure are a loving group of people,she was luky to have them at her side.my sister is in god’s hand’s now,no pain,no illness,no worries.i told her if she ever gets bored,just go out on the clouds and throw snowballs at us.she laughed and said i would be the first one she hits.

  6. My prayers and heart lies with the family that my loving cousin left behind. She will be missed very much. Her strong spirit has touched us all and she will be remembered forever.
