Hazel M. Harvey, 76 of Chanute, Ks., passed away December 28, 2011 at Heritage Nursing Center in Chanute. Survivors include her two children, Carol Harvey and Patricia Harvey of Chanute; as well as two brothers and two sisters.
Cremation, with no services scheduled. Memorial contributions in memory of Hazel may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice. Written messages and memories may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear about Hazel. She was my mom’s best friend before my mom passed away 19 years ago. She was a good women. She cared alot about her girls and her friends. I tried to keep in touch with her off and on. If you need any help just ask and I will try to help. I know there not alot other people can do at this time. Just remember she is in a better place . And she was loved alot while she was here. There’s so much more that can be said about Hazel, I am just unable to think about what all to say right now.
I am Hazels sister Mary, it is good to know hazel had good friends.She was wonderful person an will be deaply missed!
